Introduce in January 1982 it was the logical upgrade to the Vic-20. Using the same keyboard and case as the Vic-20 this 8 bit computer offered 64 K of RAM. The Commodore C-64 is the best selling computer of all time. For a substantial period (1983–1986), the C-64 dominated the market with between 30% and 40% share and 2 million units sold per year.
